NGOs & Third Sector

Inclusive digital accessibility for organizations working towards a fairer world.

EAA 2025
WCAG 2.2
RD 1112/2018
Ley 11/2023

Why is accessibility essential for NGOs?

Third sector organizations are born with a vocation for inclusion and service to society. However, many NGOs maintain digital channels that unintentionally exclude people with disabilities: websites without semantic structure, donation forms that cannot be operated by keyboard, videos without subtitles, or untagged PDF documents.

Digital accessibility is not just an ethical issue for NGOs, but also a growing legal obligation. The European Accessibility Act (EAA), effective since June 2025, extends obligations to all entities offering digital services. NGOs receiving public funding are also subject to RD 1112/2018.

Beyond compliance, an accessible website generates greater donor trust, expands the pool of potential volunteers, and demonstrates coherence with your social mission. Investing in accessibility means investing in the real impact of your organization.
