It is currently collaborating with ‘Eprinsa‘, the provincial IT company created by the Provincial Council of Córdoba in order to provide IT assistance comprehensive training, personnel training and cartographic production for the Local Administrations of the province: City Councils, Provincial Councils, their Autonomous Bodies, Public Companies, Associations, Consortiums and other Local Public Entities.
Our company offers support tasks when completing and analyzing the accessibility reports that the Provincial Institution of Córdoba is carrying out both in the Provincial Council itself and in its more than 70 participating town councils.
Eprinsa acts as a coordination and dynamization instrument that cooperates in the modernization of the local management of our province, through the design and implementation of R&D projects. To do this we have the most advanced technical and human resources in the processing of information and telecommunications.
Our objective, as we say, is to offer support work to this entity with the premise of advising, supervising and ensuring the accessibility of the permanent website. The key is to achieve a level of AA adequacy, in accordance with EN 301549/WCAG 2.1.
For this reason, we advise these administrations and public entities within the scope of application of RD 1112/2018.
It must be remembered that since September 20, 2018, Royal Decree 1112/2018 on the accessibility of websites and applications for mobile devices in the public sector has been in force. This decree requires that all websites of institutions, public administrations or those dependent on them be accessible to people with different abilities.
The Royal Decree not only requires that the Administrations’ website be accessible based on a level of adequacy established by the WCAG 2.1 accessibility guidelines, but also establishes a series of actions, implementations and documentation, which must be prepared to be sent to the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Digital Transformation.
Said ministry will be in charge of sending all information regarding its web platform to the European Commission before December 2021.
Thus, the Provincial Council of Córdoba and its town councils are currently not accessible, and it is the job of both Eprinsa and Tu Web Accessible to find out the causes of non-accessibility and take improvement measures over time.
Once the portals have been analyzed, we will carry out the preparation of all the documentary material required by the Royal Decree, necessary to send to the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Digital Transformation. This documentation involves, among others:

-Monitoring report on compliance with accessibility requirements
