We are pleased to announce that the Diputación de Jaén, in collaboration with Tu Web Accesible, has managed to transform 29 of its portals to comply with Web Accessibility standards after an intense adaptation process.
Project: Adaptation of 29 portals to RD 1112/2018
The Jaén Provincial Council trusted TuWebAccesible to carry out an ambitious project to adapt 29 web portals to the requirements established by Royal Decree 1112/2018.
This work, characterized by its magnitude and complexity, focused especially on ensuring that all portals complied with legal regulations regarding digital accessibility, ensuring that information and services were accessible to all citizens, including people with disabilities.
An approach based on continuous support
The success of this project lay in our personalized approach of continuous support. We work closely with the Provincial Council team to identify and solve accessibility barriers, ensuring a smooth transition towards regulatory compliance. This support included:
- Carrying out detailed audits to evaluate the level of compliance of each portal.
- Support during the development and implementation of corrective measures adapted to the specific needs of each website.
- Exhaustive documentation, including Accessibility Declarations, adjusted to the European model.
- The preparation and delivery of reports such as the Accessibility Review Report (IRA), complying with the requirements of the Unit Responsible for Accessibility (URA).
Our ability to respond to specific requests from the URA was key to guaranteeing satisfaction of regulatory requirements and reinforcing the confidence of the Jaén Provincial Council in our team.
