What exactly is web accessibility?
Web accessibility aims to ensure that web pages are usable by the maximum number of people, regardless of their personal knowledge or abilities, and regardless of the technical characteristics of the equipment used to access the web.
There are a number of false myths about web accessibility that have persisted for years, which can be summed up in the belief that web accessibility is expensive and incurs an extra cost in the development of a website, without significant benefits. This is not only false but also completely contrary to the principle of accessibility and usability of a web environment, which seeks to simplify resources and present its content in the clearest and most intuitive way.
