The Agència de Salut Pública de Barcelona (ASPB), a key agency in health promotion and disease prevention in the city, has entrusted Tu Web Accesible (Your Accessible Website) to assess and guarantee the digital accessibility of its main website. This collaboration reflects the ASPB’s commitment to equitable access to essential public information and services, especially for the most vulnerable groups.
A project focused on regulatory compliance
The project carried out by Tu Web Accesible has included a comprehensive set of key actions to ensure the alignment of the ASPB website with Royal Decree 1112/2018 and the UNE-EN 301549:2022 standard:
- Digital Accessibility Audit: A complete technical review of the portal was conducted, identifying barriers that could hinder access for users with disabilities or special needs.
- Error Report and Proposed Solutions: The detected errors were documented in detail, and specific recommendations for correction were offered, always adapted to the technical context of the site.
- Accessibility Review Report (IRA): We prepared the technical report required by regulations, following the Accessibility Unit Responsible for Accessibility (URA) model and with a practical approach to facilitate its use by the ASPB technical team.
- Accessibility Declaration: We drafted the official declaration, aligned with the European model, ensuring transparency and the institutional commitment to accessibility.

Thanks to this work, the Agència de Salut Pública de Barcelona now has:
